Anchor Inn Hotel

Beautiful rooms with awesome ocean front views, great service, and the restaurant and the pub both have fantastic food.

We only stayed one night but it covered all of our needs. No breakfast included but there is a restaurant on site. We did not eat here as our travels had us on the road before it opened. There is also a coffee and pastry shop across the road. The front desk lady was pleasant and helpful with getting my friends and I booked in and guiding us to the dinner theatre and the shops. It’s not tricky when you walk for about ten minutes. We stopped in the pub also on site after the dinner theatre and saw a guy singing some songs and playing guitar. He was a great story teller We had a very good time. We had an ocean view room and wow!! I would stay here again if we were coming through Twillingate The beds are comfortable. The room is a good size there is a bar fridge and a coffee maker. There is an ice machine if required. Basic room with what you would expect

We stayed at the Hodges Premises and had an amazing time. The rooms are very clean and well stocked, and the service was great. The Blue Barrel Cafe right below us was a nice convenience.

We were here in early June 2024 and enjoyed our stay up in The Annex and the double bed room I had picked with a view of the harbour. The beds were comfy and were both topped with a beautiful quilted runner. We had a microwave, mini fridge, two luggage racks, a nice clean bathroom with lots of towels. We ate at their restaurant, Georgies, and enjoyed the atmosphere and tasty food. I'll leave a review in that site. This was our first trip to Newfoundland and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Everything about our time here was perfect. The staff were friendly; the room was large, and well appointed with good quality linens and comfy beds, the location was ideal. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We were in the annex and while it was up the hill, it was still very close to the main building. I truly hope to make it back here again someday.

We had an excellent experience at the Anchor Inn. We were downstairs at the Captains pub. The wait staff were friendly and cheerful. The live entertainment ( Mike Sixonate ) was second to none. The screech in was exciting and fun. All in all, we had a great time

Spent our 40th anniversary at the bar. The two young men working the bar were so friendly and helpful. They were both excellent. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable.staff friendly

Firstly, the location is near perfect! At the end of a quiet street with a fantastic view of the harbour. The room was very tidy and well laid out; it also had a 'homey' charm that most hotel don't have. Very comfortable! The staff are very friendly and approachable; easy to chat with. Definitely worth a visit!

Great location and views. Rooms are very nice and restaurants have great food and friendly staff. One side note… their 2nd building up the hill isn’t motorcycle friendly.

Room was clean. Most outlets were on the light switch, not ideal for changing phones. Room could use higher wattage bulbs.
